Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how iGen Digital Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit igendigitalservices.com (the “Website”) or contact us. We are based in Lajpat Nagar, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh 208005, India.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in a form on the Website — such as the enquiry, quote, contact, free audit, newsletter or job application forms — we collect the details you enter. This may include your name, phone number, email address, company name, website address, the service you’re interested in, your budget range, your message, and for job applications a link to your CV or portfolio.

Website addresses you check. When you use our free SEO Analysis or Page Speed tools, we fetch the public web page you enter in order to analyse it. Results are stored temporarily (for about one hour) to speed up repeat checks.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server receives technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use your IP address briefly, in hashed form, to limit form submissions and tool usage and prevent abuse. We also use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the Website.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals and provide the services you request
  • To send the free audits or reviews you ask for
  • To send our newsletter, if you subscribe (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To consider your job application
  • To understand and improve how the Website is used
  • To protect the Website from spam and abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

AI chat assistant

Our website offers an AI chat assistant that answers questions about our services. When you use it, the messages you type are sent to our AI provider — currently Google’s Gemini API — to generate replies. Google may use these messages to improve its products and services, in line with Google’s terms and privacy policy. A copy of the conversation is also stored on our website so our team can follow up and improve the assistant. If you share your name, phone number or email address in the chat so that we can contact you, those details are saved as an enquiry in the same way as our website forms. Please don’t share sensitive personal information in the chat. The assistant can make mistakes — for important decisions, please confirm details with our team.

Cookies and third-party services

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies from the following services:

  • Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager — to measure visits and usage of the Website.
  • Google Fonts — to display the Website’s fonts. Your browser connects to Google’s servers to load them.
  • Google Maps — our Contact page embeds a map, which may set cookies from Google.
  • WhatsApp — if you click a WhatsApp link, you’ll be taken to WhatsApp, which is governed by its own privacy policy.

We also store small preferences in your browser — for example, so the enquiry pop-up isn’t shown to you again in the same visit. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How we store and protect your information

Enquiries submitted through the Website are stored securely in our website’s administration system and sent to our business email. Access is limited to people who need it to respond to you. We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to handle your request and for our legitimate business records, after which it is deleted.

Sharing your information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Website and our business — such as our web hosting provider, email provider and analytics tools — and only as needed for those purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your rights

Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to its use. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Children

The Website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated.
